MISSION

Our mission is to provide folks with an OPTION of plant based quick service DELICIOUS foods. Our specific goals which we aspire to realize through our mission are:

     a) Dramatically improve the health of all our customers;
     b) Dramatically reduce and eventually end the gruesome           suffering inflicted upon animals raised for slaughter;
     c) Dramatically reduce and eventually end the dumping of           huge amounts of toxic chemicals into our top soil and           fresh water resources;
     d) END WORLD HUNGER by freeing up the great majority of           the worlds food supply instead of feeding it to animals for           slaughter;

Our other priorities after restoring the health and well being of all life forms on the planet is to provide state of the art 'convenience' to our customers.

IMPACTS

     MOST of the corn and soybeans grown in this country,80% and 90% respectively, are fed to animals, NOT humans. As a result, millions of acres of farmlands are sprayed with highly toxic pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, etc.; which go into the air, food, the soil, and the water. This in turn poisons other life forms besides just the insects and has a drastic effect on the whole food chain and ecosystems. Also, the vast amounts of chemical fertilizers put in these corn and soy fields pollute the ground water with nitrates which causes birth defects in humans for generations.

     By eating plants instead of animals, this whole scenario disappears because it takes 12 times the area to grow food to feed animals as it does to grow food to feed humans. For example, 12 pounds of corn makes 12 loaves of corn bread for humans, but the same 12 pounds of corn makes only 1 pound of meat if fed to an animal for slaughter. Also, animals raised for slaughter consume vast amounts of fresh water. Most fresh water supplies are being drained precipitously to water the fields to grow food for animals and to water the animals themselves. ALL NATURE'S EXPRESS FOOD IS 100% PLANT BASED. I.e. NO CHOLESTEROL whatsoever, since ALL cholesterol comes from animal based foods. Further, over 90% of all foods used are grown and certified ORGANIC i.e.. no synthetic chemicals added to food or soil directly or indirectly. Our foods are VERY LOW IN FAT. A typical meal at Nature's Express will only contain about 10% of the total calories from fat... this is in keeping with Dr. John McDougall's healing program for the prevention AND CURE of most (if not all) degenerative diseases.
