Thanksgiving Creamy Chard with Ricotta Cheese


Creamy Chard with Ricotta Cheese Ingredients: - 1 pound Swiss chard, stems removed and leaves coarsely chopped - 2 tablespoons olive oil - 3 cloves garlic, minced - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste - 1 cup ricotta cheese - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


  1. In a large pot of boiling water, cook the Swiss chard for about 5 minutes or until tender; drain well and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for about 1 minute while stirring constantly to avoid burning the garlic.
  3. Stir in the cooked Swiss chard, seasoning with salt and black pepper as desired. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Remove from heat and gently fold in both the ricotta cheese and Parmesan cheese until evenly distributed throughout the chard mixture. Serve immediately.
